COMPETITION
THEME: “Ending Violence Against Women & Girls”
WHY: To raise awareness about violence against women
and to design artwork that could be used by the
Shelter to promote communities of peace and
respect.
WHO: Rockland County High School Students
PRIZE: Winner: $500.00 (targeted for educational purposes)
Honorable Mention (5): $100.00 each
Winner will be announced on May 10, 2013
In addition, the winning entrant's school, club or
organization will receive a $250 award. Prize monies will be
awarded at a reception and exhibition of all the art work to which the media and local officials will be invited.
