The CSC emergency residential shelter is a comfortable, home-like residence at a secure location that is kept undisclosed for security purposes. CSC provides battered women and their children a safe place to live while they recover from the trauma of domestic violence and plan for their future safety. The residential shelter includes, bedrooms, bathrooms, a kitchen with a kosher section, and several common areas in which residents can gather for group meetings or just relax with their children.

Shelter staff are supported by numerous volunteers who assist with childcare, recreation, food preparation, transportation, and other activities.
